\nThe first was to see if apple slices would brown or not when exposed to different liquids<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Result: still bright white in the lemon juice, super icky brown in the vinegar, kinda brown in the baking soda, and just a little brown in both the milk and the controls (water and no liquid at all)<\/p>\n

The second experiment was an \u201cErupting Apple<\/a>\u201d made of baking soda that foamed and dissolved when vinegar was added.
