Mom got me a set of the Magic Treehouse books and gave me a challenge: read 1 book per day in October, the book number to correspond with the day of the month, or at least finishing all 28 before the end of the month. If I can do it, she says there’s a prize in it for me.
Well, the jokes on her! I read one of the books this morning while she was thinking up the challenge! I know I can do this! Come on October!
