Pathfinder: Arise! Shine in Trust
Today we learned about Moses and God talking to him through the burning bush. Pretty nifty trick! Moses didn’t think he could do what God was asking him to do but when God said to “Trust in God” he did.
We made Burning Bush sand art for craft time and a lighthouse made out of an ice cream cone and marshmallows for snack time.
For the science part there were different kinds of candles: regular candle, magic candle, and a candle made out of a potato! They all had different looking flames and it took a different amount of blowing to make them go out.
It was really neat to see what happened when you put them under a glass and cut off the oxygen. They all went out then! So much easier than blowing super hard! Especially for the magic candle!
