Bacteria growth looks so cool!

Today was the last day of letting our bacteria grow. I even checked them all out under my microscope.

All of the samples had some bacteria growing in them, except, of course, the Control. There were a couple that even had more than one color bacteria growing in their dishes! How cool is that? Maybe not too cool since one of those was from my hands! And I swear I’ve been washing them! A lot! And we’re not sure if Kalika really has more germs in her mouth than Kahi does or if she just had more spit when Mom swabbed them.
All of the slides that had more moisture grew better than the drier ones. But now we know so we will be more uniform in the future.

Also, to continue both the bacteria experiments and the Raddish Korea box, we started a batch of Kimchi. I don’t know what that is but Mom says it will probably be pretty smelly in a couple of days!
