Today we investigated the “rock cycle”. We “eroded” chocolate rocks, then smooshed them up to make sedimentary rocks, and then added heat to make metamorphic ones!

We also made “sponge rock” candy to mimic pumice stone. It got all foamy, and, sure enough, it has holes! It’s so neat!

We also studied the different strata of my peanut butter and banana sandwich (that I made all by myself)
It the best kind of science: tasty!

those are the kind of rocks that don’t break your teeth when you EAT them!!! Clean up of those experiments must be pretty easy!!
