Sharks!

Today we had a lesson from shark expert and conservationist, Rachel Graham. She asked us to make sharks out of playdoh. I made a bull shark and Mom made a hammerhead.
Did you know that sharks are chondrichthyans? That’s a fancy way of saying that they don’t have bones but have cartilage… just like your nose! I knew about the cartilage, but didn’t know about the fancy word!
