Today I told D-Dad that my hair was getting a little too long in the front because I couldn’t see very well! I went and got the scissors and Mom trimmed my bangs so I could see again. I wouldn’t let her cut anymore than that though! Just enough that I can see out the front, but I want the rest to get longer!
Mom also turned it into our SciFri lesson, and I got to learn all about hair.
Did you know that almost all mammals have hair? And it doesn’t hurt at all to cut it, because it’s “dead” by the time it leaves your body? And it comes in a bunch of different colors, but that red hair is made by a special pigment, different from all the other colors, so it is more rare than the rest? Oh, and Mom’s green and blue aren’t natural colors, but they sure are fun!

I can SEE YOU better now too!!! “Mom’s Barber Shop” is where your Uncle Jeff went for a lot of year for his haircuts too but his was in Hawaii!!.
