Actually, my Mom says it’s a “non-Newtonian fluid” called “oobleck.” It’s really neat. Sometimes it’s like a liquid and sometimes like a solid. If the dinosaurs try to run really fast across it, they can. But if they go slow, then they sink and get stuck!
Mom says if we had a whole lot of oobleck then I could try to run across a pool of it too!
How cool is that?

Did Mom tell you that Grammie lived a block away from the LaBrea Tar pits when she was 4 years old like you!! And animals still got stuck in them even alllllllllllll those years later. Now it is surrounded by buildings, but there are statues of all the kinds of animals that got stuck there. I liked the Saber Tooth Tiger the best!!!
