Mom says this is our last Critterbox for a while. Apparently this “sickness” is affecting all sorts of businesses, and those people need to stay home to be safe, just like us. That’s ok though, I can keep learning on my own!
Today we learned about the naked mole rat and there was a red panda stuffy too. But most of the learning was about the naked mole rat.
Did you know that the naked mole rat lives underground in a colony with a Queen, just like bees? And that they have teeth on the OUTSIDE of their mouths, so when they burrow they don’t get dirt in their mouths? So cool!

I did NOT know that…. kinda like Bunny teeth??? I guess fur would get awfully dirty in his colony. No room for a washing machine!!!
Isn’t it amazing how God makes all the animals just right to do all the things they are supposed to do? Who else would have thought to put his teeth outside so as not to get dirt in his mouth!!! WOW!!
