We learned about, and played with, snow – inside! Snow is that really cold stuff that falls from the sky when it’s too cold for just rain. If it’s icy instead of soft flakes, that’s called hail. We had a bunch of hail storms this week! But no snow, except the fake kind. ❄️
And then I learned about tornadoes. A tornado is when wind goes super fast in a circle and makes like a funnel shape. Mom says we get to watch a movie about Tornadoes next – The Wizard of Oz! She says we have family connections to the movie, but none to tornadoes! 🌪 🌪 🧙♂️
Next week we get to finish up with Part 2: Volcano 🌋 Today we built the volcano, but it has to dry before we can do our experiment. That’s ok, most volcanoes take thousands of years to form, this will only take 1 week!

Is Gramps going to be excited to hear that you can make snow!!! He always want it to snow in Lanikai— he did not say it had to fall from the sky!!!! Maybe you could remember when you are here again???
