In today’s class we learned about what kinds of things that fire fighters do and how heavy the stuff they wear is. Did you know that they wear around 100 pounds of gear, if not more??? That’s almost 2 of me! Of course, I already knew most of it because of all of my friends from Burning Man who are fire fighters! I even got to show off my official Fire Chief Helmet that Uncle Mike gave me!
And we practiced running up stairs and things too, including a “virtual ride in a fire truck.” I decided not to show off too much and tell them that I had ridden in a real fire truck on Playa with Uncle Ralph. But I did. And it was super fun! Check last summer in here, the Daily Finn!
