Mom made one too, but I think mine is cooler!
We didn’t just make these for fun (although it was!) but we also learned about the purpose and the mechanism of the shape of the shield as well as what different shapes and colors mean in heraldry.
Mom’s has a kelpie so show her affinity for the ocean (Hawaii) and the mountains (Washington) and mine has a winged cat because I love cats and I wish I could fly
