Finn, I am proud of you for doing this project with your Cubs. We do not have a lot of veterans in our family but we do have two that Tutu would have told you about if you had known her. Her brother, Bob who was my Uncle Beeger (WWII) who died in Italy as a hero saving some of his buddies. from a grenade. Uncle Les (WW1) who was Aunt Ruth’s husband was the other who suffered from PTSD and lost all his hair (even his eyelashes) from being in the trenches and a victim of the mustard Gas that was used on the troops in that war.

WE ARE PROUD OF THEM FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY IN A FARAWAY LAND AND WE THANK THEM FOR THEIR SACRIFICE SO THAT WE COULD LIVE AS FREE AMERICANS IN THE LAND OF THE BRAVE AND GRATEFUL. May God Bless America!!
