The assignment: create 24 of something in 48 hours.
It was hard work, and D-Dad had to help me a little bit, but I got it done! 24 LEGO creations! All sorts of creations ranging from the 8 Foot Square to the Really High Box to the Jousting Franken-Dino to the Unidentified Flying Tree!
Mom made her 24 too: 12 out of PlayDoh and 12 origami critters.
Background: One of Mom’s favorite webcomic artists, Danielle Corsetto, did a challenge many years back where she and several of her friends tried to draw 24 comics in 24 hours. Whether that meant a true comic book storyline, 24 interconnected comic strips, or 24 separate comics was up to the individual artist. It’s been a few years so they decided to do it again! Except, now they’re older and reality is they wanted a little extra time, so, 24 in 48! And she encouraged other people to participate by creating 24 of something in 48 hours. And it didn’t have to be related or anything, just create stuff! So we did.
